Indicator tape for sterilisation

Adhesive indicator tape to put on items before sterilisation. Temperature sensitive ink gradually changes colour when the desired temperature has been reached. 3 models of indicator tape are available: for the autoclave (damp heat), any type of dry heat sterilisation and gas (ethylene oxide). Dispensers 086000 and 140265 are suitable for use with the tape.

Bio indicator STERIKON

Ontdekken

• 2 ml ampoule of Geobacillus stearothermophilus ATCC 7953 spores
• Spore completely destroyed after autoclaving (121 °C / 15 min)
• After incubation:
if yellow/orange bulb: poor autoclaving
if red/purple bulb: correct autoclaving
