Identification of enterobacteriaceae and other gram-oxidase bacteria - ready-to-use tube consisting of gel media in 12 compartments.
• Collecting a colony with the inoculator
• Inoculate the gel media by passing the inoculator through the 12 compartments
• Reintroduce the inoculator into the ENTEROPLURITEST
• Break off the part of the inoculator coming out of the ENTEROPLURITEST
• Drill the last 8 compartments with the inoculator
• Replace the cap and incubate the ENTEROPLURITEST, in an upright position, at 35 - 37 °C for 18 - 24 h
• Interpret and record results except for indole and VOGES-PROSKAUER
• Add 3 - 4 drops of KOVACS reagent to the INDOLE compartment
• Add 3 drops of ALPHA-NAPHTOL reagent and 2 drops of Potassium hydroxide to the VP compartment
• Look up the 5 digits obtained in the code book to identify the strain
