Schott glass bottles

The Schott DURAN borosilicate glass bottless have a very low expansion coefficient and excellent resistance to heat shocks and chemical agents.

• Duran® glass Type 1 (neutral glass), clear or amber
• Without closure, or with polypropylene matching screw cap with pouring ring
• Uniform wall thickness distribution
• High temperature resistance, ideal for autoclaving and dry sterilising
• Easy to read, permanent graduations

Blue screw caps from PP: with lip seal and matching colour pouring rings. Autoclavable at 121 °C (max. temp. 140 °C).

Red high temperature screw caps from PBT: High leak tightness through use of PTFE coated silicone seal (peroxide-cured silicone). More chemically and heat resistant than PP screw cap. Autoclavable at 121 °C, can also be sterilised in dry heat at 180 °C.

Suitable for PBT screw caps. Heat resistance: 130 °C (vapour) and 200 °C (dry heat), autoclavable at 121 °C. Good chemical resistance due to PTFE coating. Silicon is peroxidically cured.
